The Jena Alliance, a network of graduate schools in Jena, funded by the Carl-Zeiss-Stiftung, would like to invite you to our first series of “CZS Honorary Guest Lectures" which will be given by Prof. Igor Meglinski (Aston university, UK) on light inspired biomedical diagnostics and tissue characterization using spin and orbital angular momenta and perspectives for quantum approaches in the field. (Flyer attached)

Two lectures lighting up the research field at the interface between physics, biomedical engineering, medicine and life sciences will offer the insights into the development of the non-invasive diagnostic approaches demanded by the cutting-edge medical research as well as will become a great opportunity for further discussions afterwards.

March 22, 1 pm: Spin and Orbital Angular Momenta in Biomedical Diagnosis and Tissue Characterisation (Prof. Igor Meglinski), ACP Auditorium, Albert-Einstein-Straße 6, 07745 Jena

March 27, 2 pm: Dynamic Light Scattering for non-invasive diagnosis of blood and blood microcirculation (Prof. Igor Meglinski), ACP Auditorium, Albert-Einstein-Straße 6, 07745 Jena

Both lectures will take place at the Abbe Center of Photonics (ACP) and will be broadcast via Zoom.
