Successful doctoral defense

After a long and intensive preparation phase, it is finally done - Rafiq successfully defended his doctoral thesis in November 2024 and also convinced the committee in the discussion round of his scientific expertise on the topic “Deciphering Aspergillus fumigatus Evasion Strategies within Immune Cell Phagolysosomes”. Congratulations, dear Rafiq, the MAM is very proud of you! We wish you all the best for your further work at the Leibniz-HKI as a postdoc in the PhagoINf group.
