MBD congratulates a new PhD student!

On Wednesday, February 22, Daniel Loos defended his PhD work on “The Fungal Focus on Broad-Scale Metagenomics”.
After a magnificent oral presentation and follow-up discussion, Daniel was congratulated by his PhD committee. We too extend our warmest congratulations to Dr. Loos!
Daniel has moved on to a Data Scientist position at the Max Planck Institute for Biogeochemistry -good luck in his future career!
