MBD present at the Digital Summit

| by Ana Depetris Chauvin

On November 21 and 22, the city of Jena hosted the Digital Summit, a nationwide event focusing on digital transformation to solve current problems and improve our daily lives. The summit brings together business, academia, and civil society experts in various digital fields. The MBD was there, presenting the incredible potential of artificial intelligence (AI) in microbiome research.

Biomedical research is entering a new era where understanding the gut microbiome can truly influence disease diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment. However, microbiome data is complex; one medical condition can mean thousands of relevant clinical data. How can we integrate all this information and help clinicians make informed decisions that improve patients' health?

With our research, we want to show the incredible power of AI for a healthier life.

An absolutely fantastic opportunity to discuss with other researchers, university and high school students and people interested in the digital transformation in medicine!
