On November 25, the Leibniz-HKI opened once again its doors for the Long Night of the Sciences. During this night, visitors could enter the Institute, visit the labs, and learn about the exciting research done at the Leibniz-HKI. The Systems Biology and Bioinformatics unit participated of this long-awaited dissemination event. Sara Leal Siliceo, Howell Leung, and Tongta Sae-Ong discussed with the visitors how the gut microbiota impacts our health, and how we, at SBI, combine traditional biology methods with computational analysis to investigate and better understand our gut flora.
