Successful defense
Marcel Sprenger completes doctorate

Marcel did it and we celebrate his successful PhD defense. The topic of the thesis was "Survival and proliferation of human pathogenic Candida species within phagocytes". At first Marcel presented his results confidently and always had the right answers ready in the following question and answer session of the commission. Now, in a few weeks, he will officially be allowed to call himself "Dr.". Afterwards there was reason to celebrate and of course the obligatory hat was not to be missed!
