Faculty 1000 recommends paper as "exceptional"
The Faculty of 1000, the expert post-publication review site for biomedical research, has added a high recommendation for one of our latest publications*. Faculty member Joe Heitman and Blake Billmyre regard our recent PLOS Pathogens paper "One small step for a yeast - microevolution within macrophages renders Candida glabrata hypervirulent due to a single point mutation" as being of special significance in its field. Their review especially stresses the novelty and the exciting future applications of new findings for experimental evolution of pathogens.
