Publication award by the German speaking Mycological Society (DMykG)
During the 49th Meeting of the German speaking Mycological Society (DMykG) in Jena, the scientists Sascha Brunke and Katja Graf (née Seider) received one of three publication awards for their publication

This publication has also been selected by Faculty of 1000 as “recommended” and of special significance in its field. The review especially stresses the novelty and the exciting future applications of new findings for experimental evolution of pathogens.
Since 2007, the DMykG awards prizes for interesting scientific publications in the field of medical and veterinary mycology every year.
