Dorothee Eckhardt successfully finishes her vocational training
In February, our team member Dorothee Eckhardt has passed her final examination and is now qualified to work as a research assistent. She obtained all necessary theoretical knowledge at the Berufliches Schulzentrum Radebeul near Dresden, and had her practical training here at the Hans Knöll Institute (HKI). Together with four other trainees, she got to know all departments of the institute in the last 3.5 years and learned how to put all the procedures, methods, and workflows to practical use in science.
We were able to offer all graduates a one-year-contract at the HKI. Dorothee chose to work in our department, which has already served as her "home base" during her training.
