Our PhD student Marina wins it all!
Three Minute Thesis Competition 2018
The 3MT® is an internationally renowned competition, conducted in universities all over the world. Candidates have to present their doctoral thesis in 3 minutes, using only one slide. The competition was integrated into the "Promovierendentag" on 23 January 2018, and took place at the Friedrich Schiller University in Jena.
Marina Pekmezovic from our department conquered both the Jury and the Public's preferences with her talk "Small talk during fungal infection", bringing home not one, but 2 prizes! Marina´s video will be judged together with the winners' video from other European Universities by an international jury and the three shortlisted candidates will compete at the live final in Salamanca, Spain.
