EU finances important project

Firm promise for FunComPath

We are happy to announce: The project draft FunComPath (Fungal Commensal-to-Pathogenicity) with the title "From colonization to infection: dissection of the commensal-to-pathogen shift of Candida albicans" within the ERA-Net has received a positive reply by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF). The project will be realised in cooperation with scientists in Paris (France), Duesseldorf, Madrid (Spain) and Goteborg (Sweden) bearbeitet. Bernhard Hube is initiator and coordinator of the project. The project duration will take three years and a postdoctoral fellow will be financed, too.

Infect-ERA is an ERA-NET on human infectious diseases funded under the 7. Research Framework Programme (2013 – 2016). To date, it is a consortium of 14 partners from 11 countries. Partner of the BMBF in Germany is the Forschungszentrum Jülich.
