PhD Defence Marina Pekmezovic

After submitting the excellent reviews, the defence followed. The topic of the thesis was "Fungal virulence attributes and epithelial responses during vaginal Candida infections". Marina presented her results in her usual impressive manner and always had the right answers ready in the following question and answer session with the committee. Afterwards, there was of course reason to celebrate and the obligatory hat could not be missing!
Marina, we are all proud of you and are happy that you will continue to stay with us as a post-doc in the department "Adaptive Pathogenicity Strategies".
