Poster award for Jakob

At this year's CRC TR124 “FungiNet - Pathogenic fungi and their human host” and “Invasive Mycoses in Haematological Malignancies - IMIHM XV” meeting, which took place from March 31st to April 1st in Würzburg, our research associate Jakob Sprague won a poster prize.
His poster on the publication “Candida albicans translocation through the intestinal epithelial barrier is promoted by fungal zinc acquisition and limited by NFκB-mediated barrier protection” met with great interest and convinced the jury.
