Institutes, laboratories, lecture halls and clinics opened their doors for the Long Night of Science. There was plenty for young and old to explore, learn and try out! We were of course also represented with a stand and showed the guests how varied and interesting our research is. Visitors were able to drop Candida fungi with immune cells and see how diverse and colorful our microbiome and the microorganisms in our environment are. We also showed parts of the lab and beautiful microscopy pictures and videos about the interaction of fungi with human cells. Last but not least, visitors could compete in pipetting and win a surprise in a little game.
