Defense for the second time: Sophie also defended successfully

Our doctoral student Sophie Austermeier defended her dissertation brilliantly in front of the examination committee. She gave a presentation on “Adaptation of Candida albicans to non-commensal host environments induced by circulating host proteins and immune mediators” and then answered numerous questions from the committee. Now it is done and the project “doctorate” is completed.
We congratulate and wish her all the best for her future scientific career.
