Two research groups funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research are studying the mechanisms of sepsis. The labs of Prof. Kurzai and Prof. Dr. Hortense Slevogt are closely collaborating with the clinical research group of Prof. Dr. Frank Brunkhorst.
