The chemist Dr. Florian Kloß is head of the Transfer Group Antiinfectives.

At the occasion of the World Tuberculosis Day on March 24, the BMBF-funded project consortium InfectControl 2020 draws attention to one of the most dangerous infectious diseases worldwide.

Scientists and enrepreneurs explain in a short video (in German) how they develop an antibiotic against tuberculosis which is also active against resistant strains.

The Transfer Group Antiinfectives and its head Florian Kloß, located at the Leibniz-HKI, is a leading partner in this publicly financed project.
