World Sepsis Day

The increasing numbers of deaths in Africa because of sepsis due to an Ebola infection are alarming. But also in Germany each year up to 20 000 deaths by sepsis could be prevented. In order to improve this situation, experts call for a National Action Plan Against Sepsis.

At this panel discussion, a broad alliance of German infection and sepsis researchers and scientific associations is renewing its call to the government to establish a National Action Plan against Sepsis.

The panel discussion will take place at Berlin, Langenbeck‐Virchow‐Haus; Luisenstraße 58/59 from 11:00-14:00.
