After weeks of hard work, it is finally time: The new canteen at Leibniz-HKI, nucleus, has opened. We offer fresh and regional cuisine for lunch as well as coffee, cakes and snacks in the afternoon. The nucleus is open from 11:30 to 17:00 for all, whether members of the institute, our colleagues on the Beutenberg campus or friends from further afield.

The nucleus is located in the HKI Biotech Center, our new research building, which was put into operation a few months ago. With nucleus, we would like to create a new place of togetherness on the Beutenberg. Here, one can not only eat regional, seasonal, fresh and of course deliciously, but also discuss the next research collaboration over coffee and cake in an informal atmosphere.

You can find more information at: www.nucleus-kantine.de

There you will find not only the menu, but also the lunch order form. In an effort to reduce food waste and remain agile, lunch will be primarily available only via this pre-order system. Everything is freshly prepared. Of course, no reservation is necessary for coffee, cakes and snacks, just drop by!

The nucleus is run by Gut essen. Gut leben. GmbH, which operates other eateries in Jena and focuses on regional, seasonal and contemporary cuisine.

We are very happy to welcome you at nucleus!
