New BMBF-funded Junior Research Group at Leibniz-HKI

Matthew Blango and his team investigate the role of RNA in fungal infections

The Federal Ministry of Education and Research funds a new Junior Research Group at the Leibniz Institute for Natural Product Research and Infection Biology - Hans Knöll Institute - (Leibniz-HKI) in Jena with close to two million Euro. An interdisciplinary team headed by Matthew G. Blango will investigate infections caused by the fungus Aspergillus fumigatus.
