Joint group retreat 2025

After two years since the first joint retreat of the PBT team together with the cooperating group of Christina Warinner, we continued with the second one in a similar format. We identified milestones that were achieved since then, most notably the common publication in Science in 2023 and discussed our projects with the determination to push forward with existing and future projects while keeping the eyes open for further potential application areas. Accompanied by team workshops, interactive games, and a dynamic atmosphere in the premises next to a lake, the participants were able to set concrete objectives and path the way for convincing results within the fields of paleobiotechnology and archeogenetics.
