Professional Career

Daniel Kalb studied biotechnology/microbiology at the University of Kaiserslautern, Germany. He was a master student in the group of Professor Dr. Eckhard Thines at the Institute of Biotechnology and Drug Research, Kaiserslautern. Afterwards, he was a Ph.D. student in the group of Professor Dr. Dirk Hoffmeister at the University of Jena focusing on fungal nonribosomal peptides, and since October 2015 he did a post-doc training in the group of Professor Dr. Dirk Hoffmeister.
