Robotics-assisted identification and development of new anti-infectives (RoboThür).

The RoboThür project establishes a new quality of translational research in the academic field. The main goal is to professionalize the search for active ingredients and their transfer to clinical application. To this end, the project will focus in particular on the early phases of the discovery of new antibiotics and accelerate the development of lead candidates. Standardized, person-independent methods and high throughput close the gap that exists between university research and the pharmaceutical industry. Industrial research significantly improves connectivity to industry, benefiting due diligence and subsequent approval processes for new drugs.
