Beutenberg Campus e.V. elects new board

Peter F. Zipfel elected as deputy chairman

At its annual meeting on March 9, 2016, the Beutenberg Campus Jena e.V. elected its new board. For the next two years, Prof. Wilhelm Boland, director at the Max Planck Institute for Chemical Ecology, will be chairman of the board. He succeeds Prof. Hartmut Bartelt who will remain associated with the board as observer.

Prof. Peter Zipfel, deputy director of the Leibniz Institute for Natural Product Research and Infection Biology - Hans Knöll Institute - was elected as deputy chairman of the board.

Dr. Klaus Bartholmé, chancellor of the FSU Jena, was reelected as treasurer as well as Frank Sondermann, administrative director of the Leibniz Institute for Photonic Technologies as observer.
